International Student Application Process

Application

International applicants may submit an application for admission at apply.king.edu

Deposit Deadline

International students must be accepted and deposited by:

December 15 for Spring semester
July 31 for Fall semester

Required Documents

Statement of Support Form and Passport

After submitting the required documents listed below, students requiring an I-20 to obtain or maintain F-1 Student Visa status will be provided with a Statement of Support form to completeand must submit financial documents to provide evidence of financial ability to cover a full year of expenses at King University before being admitted. You will also be asked to provide a copy of your valid passport at this time.

PLEASE NOTE: King University only issues I-20s to students accepted into a face-to-face programs taught on the Bristol campus.

Applicants already in the United States on a Nonimmigrant Visa are responsible for determining if they can study on their current Visa based on USCIS guidelines and must notify King University immediately if seeking a change of status to F-1 Student.

Undergraduate – New Freshmen

  1. Official Credential Evaluation of current high school transcript
    • You will be required to submit an updated Official Credential Evaluation showing US High School Diploma Equivalency upon completion of your high school level studies.
  2. High school transcript including current grades and any certificates/diplomas earned
    • You will be required to submit an updated official high school transcript upon completion of your high school level studies
  3. English Proficiency Exam scores (accepted exams and required scores listed below)

Undergraduate – Transfer

  1. Transcripts from all colleges attended
  2. Official Credential Evaluation for colleges attended outside US
  3. Official Credential Evaluation showing US High School Diploma Equivalency
  4. High school transcript including grades and any certificates/diplomas earned
  5. English Proficiency Exam scores (accepted exams and required scores listed below)
    • TOEFL- 84, IELTS- 6, PTE-56, or Duolingo- 100
    • Waived if you have completed English Composition with a grade of B or higher, have completed an Associate’s Degree, scored higher 1000 on the SAT, or if English is an official language of your country of birth or country of citizenship (https://www.cia.gov/the-world-factbook/countries/).

Graduate– Traditional Master of Business Administration

  1. Transcripts from all colleges attended
  2. Official Credential Evaluation for colleges attended outside US
  3. English Proficiency Exam scores (accepted exams and required scores listed below)
    • TOEFL- 84, IELTS- 6, PTE-56, or Duolingo- 100
    • Waived if you have completed English Composition with a grade of B or higher, have completed an Associate’s Degree, scored higher 1000 on the SAT, or if English is an official language of your country of birth or country of citizenship (https://www.cia.gov/the-world-factbook/countries/)
  4. Personal Statement Essay
    • Essay prompt will be provided after application submission
  5. Resume
  6. Two recommendation letters
    • Please submit your recommendation requests using your King Application Dashboard, log in at apply.king.edu and click on “Request Letter of Recommendation” to send an automated request form.

Official Credential Evaluation 

King University accepts credential evaluations from any of the NACES or AICE approved organizations. SpanTran has created a custom application for King University applicants to ensure you obtain the correct evaluation at a discounted rate. You can access this custom application by clicking here.

Undergraduate applicants who have attended only high school outside the United States, please choose General Analysis with Approximate GPA option. You will need to submit your high school transcript to the evaluation organization.

Undergraduate applicants who have attended high school and college/university outside the United States, please choose the Course Analysis option. You will need to submit your high school and college transcripts to the evaluation organization.

Graduate applicants who have attended college/university outside the United States, please choose the Course Analysis option. You will need to submit your college transcripts to the evaluation organization.
