Financial Aid Dates and Deadlines
Students are strongly encouraged to submit the FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1 each year.
October 1
Begin completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for the NEXT academic year at https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa.
February 1
Priority deadline to complete the FAFSA to be considered for TSAA Grant. Awards are based on state fund availability.
Deadline to complete the FAFSA to be considered for TN Hope Scholarship for Spring and Summer semesters.
February 15
Deadline to complete the FAFSA to be eligible for the King Commitment Scholarship for the upcoming academic year (see website for full eligibility requirements). https://www.king.edu/admissions/financial-aid/king-university-commitment-scholarship/.
September 1
Deadline to complete the FAFSA to be considered for the TN Hope Scholarship for Fall semester.
