Troubleshooting Cable TV Issues
If you are having trouble with your Cable TV, please see the following troubleshooting steps
- If your cable box light is green and you are seeing this message:
Your cable box is on a channel that is not part of our current cable package. Please change your cable box TV channel to channel 5 with your cable box remote and you should see a picture.
- If your cable box light is green and you are not seeing a picture or the above message
- Please make sure your TV is on either channel 3 or 4 and that it matches the setting on the back of your cable box.
- If your cable box light is red and you are seeing a message like this:
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the Cisco Serial number on the screen or on the back of your cable box. You can not call the number on the message and have your box activated, the Help Desk must do this. The Cisco Serial number is a 9 letter code staring with CTB…
