Job Placement Rates, and Graduate and Professional School Acceptance Rates
In an effort to measure the achievements of King’s graduates, Career Center staff track rates of employment and graduate school acceptance. Beginning with the 2018-19 graduating class – any alumna or alumnus with a degree conferred between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019 – Career Center staff collected data on all undergraduates, rather than the traditional spring population. This tracking process includes administration of surveys at the time of graduation as well as six months following graduation. Career Center staff also connect with graduates through social media (typically Facebook and LinkedIn) to track these data. Additionally, faculty and staff provide such details to Career Center staff for the purpose of this tracking. Career Center staff desire to have 80% of known graduates employed, 15% of known graduates pursing further education, and 5% of graduates in another category. Graduate and Professional Education Placement for Graduates
The most common types of graduate and professional education in which graduates of King’s four-year degree programs enroll include, but are not limited to, MBA, Ph.D., science-related fields, Chiropractic School, and Nursing. These data were gathered by the Career Center staff. The tracking process includes administration of surveys at the time of graduation as well as six months following graduation.
