Some highlights that you can look forward to during Dogwood Homecoming Weekend:
- A special chapel service on Saturday morning with guest speaker, Craig McDonald.
- Dr. Jack E. Snider Brunch – Join the class of 1973 as they are inducted into the 50+ Club and hear a message from President Whitaker.
- Announcement of the 2023 Alumni Award recipients.
- Homecoming Picnic complete with delicious food, s’more station, face painting, balloon animals, and more.
- Athletic events including Men’s Volleyball, Acrobatics and Tumbling, Men’s and Women’s alumni soccer games, and Men’s and Women’s alumni volleyball games.
- Theatre performances of The Classic Calamity Tragedy Tour taking place in the Fine Arts Building.
- A time to honor “King’s Crown Jewel” where alumni and friends of King can share memories and celebrate the retirement of Dr. Jewel Bell. If you are unable to attend Dogwood, it is encouraged to send in something written by clicking here.
Registration
Dogwood Homecoming Weekend Registration is $15 per person, children 12 and under are free. Registration includes access to all events and meals for the weekend. Your registration – The Courtyard Marriot in Bristol, VA (3169 Linden Dr, Bristol, VA 24202) is graciously giving all Dogwood guests a rate of $109/night, just mention King University when placing your registration.

Celebration of the Arts at King
- An elegant evening of music, food, and friends, the second annual Celebration of the Arts 2023 will be held this year in the historic Bristol Hotel. Music, hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar set the scene for fun as you reconnect with friends from near and far. An exciting auction takes place with unique and vintage items, including exclusive experiences to bid on. All proceeds directly benefit students in the Arts at King. Join us!
