Cade Parks

Emergency Preparedness Program Manager Cade Parks brings a passion for service and a strong background in public safety to the King University Office of Campus Safety and Security. A former U.S. Marine Corps infantryman with law enforcement experience and advanced degrees in criminal justice and public administration, he was drawn to King by its close-knit community and shared commitment to serving others. Known for his approachable demeanor, leadership, and focus on preparedness, Cade works to ensure the campus is ready to respond to emergencies through training, planning, and life safety initiatives. Guided by Theodore Roosevelt’s words, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are,” he believes preparation and teamwork are key to keeping others safe.

Beyond campus, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, coaching youth sports, staying active in the gym, and expressing his creativity through piano, drawing, and painting. As a foster parent and community volunteer, he is passionate about investing in others and wants students, faculty, staff, and visitors to know that if they need help, he will do everything he can to point them in the right direction and support them along the way.
