King University Ranks High Among Tennessee Schools For Graduation Rate

March 21, 2022

BRISTOL, Tenn., March 21, 2022 — Seventy-five percent of undergraduate students who enter King University earn a degree, according to data recently released as part of the U.S. Department of Education’s College Scorecard.

The high rate placed the University sixth among schools of similar size in Tennessee, and fourth on the list of private nonprofit schools in the state.

The rate is also at least 10 percentage points above other similar institutions in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.

“King’s high graduation rate is a direct result of the positive individual attention provided by faculty and staff to our students,” said Matt Roberts, Ed.D., provost of King. “The academic journey is full of challenges as well as opportunities, and we very intentionally cultivate an environment where support and encouragement are close at hand.”

King University recently ranked seventh on the U.S. News and World Report’s list of Best Value Schools for Regional Universities in the South, and 15th in the Top Performers on Social Mobility categories in the South. The University also achieved high rankings among the Best Regional Universities and Best Colleges for Veterans.
