BRISTOL, Tenn., April 30, 2022 — More than 275 graduates attaining degrees at the associate, bachelor, master, and doctoral levels were recognized during King University’s spring commencement ceremony on Saturday, April 30.

Following longtime King tradition, faculty and graduates participated in a bagpipe processional around the campus Oval.

“These graduates have met King’s high standards and rigorous requirements during very challenging times. Their dedication and hard work should be applauded and we are proud to celebrate them,” said Matt Roberts, Ed.D., provost of King. “They have enriched our campus and community and we are happily looking forward to all they will achieve in the future.”

Shirley V. Hoogstra, J.D., president of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU) delivered the commencement address. Hoogstra is a visionary leader with a passion for Christian higher education and the essential role it plays in the world today.
