STEM Day

NOTICE: We have reached maximum capacity for our STEM Day and can no longer accept registrants. We ARE accepting names for a waitlist in the event we have some cancelations. To put your name on a waitlist, please email Professor Wendy Traynor at [email protected].

Middle school girls with an interest in science, technology, engineering and math are invited to King University for a free day of career exploration and interactive workshops.

The event is open to girls in fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades and will feature learning activities that use biology, chemistry and engineering in fun and innovative ways. All activities are free, and lunch will be provided.

STEM Day activities will be led by Women in STEM, a club comprised of female students at King who are studying programs in related fields. Wendy Traynor, assistant professor of Mathematics, serves as faculty advisor.
