Fall 2020 Student Lecture

Our first Student Lecture for 2020-2021 will be given by Mason McCrury on Monday, October 5, at 9:15 in Memorial Chapel or online at king.edu/webcast. Seating is limited in accordance with King’s COVID-19 precautions; masks are required. Mason’s title is “Bricks and Trampolines: Reconciling Creation, Evolution, and the Pursuit of Science.”

A native of Austin, Texas, Mason is a senior at King, double majoring in Human Biology and Spanish. He is a member of the volleyball team, a residence assistant, and a member of the Biology department’s research lab on campus. He worked as an undergraduate research fellow with the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Rockefeller Cancer Institute this summer, and hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in the biomedical sciences upon graduation. He enjoys hiking, traveling, and anything outdoors.
