Renowned Scholar Dr. Chad Wellmon to Host Public Lecture and Faculty Workshops on the Future of Education

King University will host acclaimed author and scholar Dr. Chad Wellmon for a series of events exploring the vital role of education and disciplined study in modern society. Drawing from his influential book After the University, Dr. Wellmon will deliver a public lecture on Monday, August 10, at 7:00 PM at Central Presbyterian Church.

In an era of rapid technological and cultural shifts, Dr. Wellmon addresses a fundamental question central to academic and civic life: why does disciplined study matter? Through a historical lens, his work explores the enduring value of education both within traditional institutions and across broader learning communities.
