Curriculum

Beginning the Exploration

The King University Core Curriculum is the academic foundation for the King University experience. It gives all students the skills, ideas, and knowledge they need to pursue their major and minor programs with confidence and good judgment. The Core, expressing King’s values through exploration of the Arts and Sciences and a cross-cultural experience, helps students understand their responsibilities to learn and to serve their fellow human beings throughout their lives.

The Core’s global emphasis and the fact that senior faculty teach most courses translate to advantages for King students on the job market and in graduate school admissions processes. The required 40 hours of general education represent one-third of the hours necessary for graduation and frame all academic work with a balanced Christian perspective. Your academic advisor will help you choose the right courses based on your future career goals.
