The Office of Student Engagement coordinates Community Outreach and New Student Programs
including New Student Orientation, First Year Seminar and Transfer Year Seminar.
The Office of Student Engagement offers opportunities to participate in community
outreach activities that enhance the quality of life for members of the surrounding
community while enriching the lives of King University students. To become involved
in community outreach, students can visit the Student Affairs office.
This course is designed to assist students in making the transition to college by
providing them with an introduction to the college and equipping them with skills
and strategies for success in the areas of intellectual development, social growth,
and vocational accomplishment.
This course will focus on academic skills, engagement with campus life, and transitional
success; it will also present strategies for overall spiritual and social growth directly
related to the transfer student's experience.
