For justification reasons, departmental and deans office may initiate changes in registration. Students will be notified by email about these changes.

*A change of schedule form is required for changes made after the term starts.

Degree Audit Request

Students must declare a major before a degree audit can be completed. To declare a major, stop by the Office of Registration and Records or email us at registrar@king.edu.

A degree audit lists all of the requirements for your degree, including (but not limited to):

  • Core requirements
  • Major requirements
  • Minor, Concentration or Specialization requirements

The degree audit will note if a requirement has or has not been fulfilled, or if it is in progress. This is a useful tool to track progress toward degree completion. Degree audits are intended to assist students in determining their academic progress at King. Every effort is made to ensure accuracy. However, final responsibility for meeting graduation requirements resides with the student. Students are encouraged to check with their advisers on a regular basis as they progress towards their degree.

Request for a degree audit can be made to the Office of Registration and Records by email to registrar@king.edu. Please include the following information in your request.

  • Name
  • Student ID
  • Major/Minor/Concentration/Specialization
  • Advisor

It can take up to two weeks to receive an official degree audit report, but typically takes five business days.

Advisors and students may use the Academic Catalog to review requirements for a degree. Reviewing your program requirements in the academic catalog is very helpful in times, where a student has requested an audit but awaiting the final report from the Office of Registration and Records.
