Admission

Students will be admitted to the Summer term on the same basis as during the regular semester if they plan to attend King University in the fall.  Students from other colleges will be admitted with a letter of approval from their Registrar.  International students from other colleges may be tested for English language proficiency to determine readiness to take courses in the regular academic program.

Cost

The tuition charge for the Summer term is $125 per semester hour for each on-campus course.  At the time of registration, a $25 deposit is required for the term.  Other fees and charges are outlined in the Financial Information section of the Academic Catalogue.  Faculty contracts will be issued prior to the beginning of the Summer term.

The University will provide a room for Term A only at the rate of $340.00.  A damage deposit of $25 must be paid to the Business Office before check-in.  This deposit will be refunded by check after check-out if room and common living areas are in satisfactory condition.

Modular Dates

Modules include an accelerated situation in which students can focus intensively on a course subject matter and provide greater flexibility in scheduling classes. With the shorter formats offered within our fifteen week term, students use this time to take courses that will advance them closer to degree completion. Additionally, credit hours taken during modules count as part of the regular semester enrollment for federal and state aid, just like other courses. The dates above reflect the START and END date for each module A-G.
