King College > Parents
Parents
For your son or daughter, college is the journey of a lifetime. As a parent, you
may have specific questions about life at King College.
To help you in this new chapter of your life, we’ve compiled information
specifically geared to answer your questions and provide you with the
information you need to help your student arrive at success.
Education With Impact
There are a few givens of college life. Students will study. They will learn.
They will play. They will meet people who can change their lives. At King
College, they will also grow - as students, certainly, but perhaps more
importantly as people.
With our low faculty-student ratio and approximately 750 students on the
entire campus, our size is ideal. Out professors know our students well, and
offer them challenges that will motivate and inspire. While King's faculty
utilize the latest technology and innovative curriculum, they remember that it
is their personal attention that will grow the brightest and best students.
We bring the world to King, and send our students out into it. In 2003, we
had 41 international students from 24 foreign countries. We also include foreign
and domestic travel learning opportunities in our curriculum - even during the
freshman year.
2007 Family Weekend
Family Weekend is scheduled for Sept. 28 to 30 .

Debbie and Alan Linkous
Parents of Derek Linkous
"Derek had several opportunities after high school, and we
couldn't be happier that he chose King College. We know that the fellowship he
has with other students, the faculty and staff has been a big part of his
success. The value and impact of this experience will be immeasurable in his
future."
