King University Alumni Gathering planned for Winston-Salem on Jan. 19

BRISTOL, Tenn., Dec. 15, 2018 – King University alumni along with faculty, staff, and current students are invited to gather in Winston-Salem Jan. 19, 2018, for a meet and greet followed by an intense hockey game at 7:30 p.m. between the Carolina Thunderbirds and Danville Dashers. The event takes place at the Carolina Thunderbirds Winston-Salem Fairgrounds located at Annex 414 Deacon Blvd. in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

“We are excited to have this alumni event for the Winston-Salem area where alumni, faculty, staff, and students will gather to cheer on the Carolina Thunderbirds. We look forward to a night of excitement on and off the ice,” said Dana McMurray, director of Alumni Relations.

The event will kick off with a reception with fellow alumni starting at 6:30 p.m. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for adults and children are $10 per person and includes both admission to the game and popcorn.
