King University Alumni Invited to Participate in Clinch River Adventure Aug. 5th
BRISTOL, Tenn., July 10, 2017 – King University will host the King on the Clinch event for alumni and friends on Saturday, Aug. 5. Participants will enjoy a day’s adventure on the Clinch River in St. Paul, Virginia.
“We wanted to do something a little different this summer and take advantage of the beautiful area we live in,” said Dana McMurray, director of alumni relations at King. “The Clinch River is such a fun place to hang out with friends and family, so we decided to invite alumni, faculty, and staff to come out and spend the day with us.”
The day will begin at Clinch River Adventures located at 16642 E Riverside Drive, St. Paul, Virginia. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at noon with their lunch and blanket or chair(s) to enjoy a picnic lunch on the river banks. King will provide canned drinks and water for everyone.
At 1 p.m., guests will load up on floats to enjoy the river. Alumni and friends may choose to float either two or four hours down the river, but it must be decided upon making reservations with King’s Office of Alumni Relations.
The cost for the King on the Clinch event is $10 per person. Visit www.clinchriveradventures.com for more information on Clinch River Adventures. RSVP by Wednesday, July 26 to Dawn McMurray via phone at 800.621.5464 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
