Registration Open for 2015 King University Golf Tournament

2015 Golf TournamentBRISTOL, Tenn., May 19, 2015 – On Monday, June 8, 2015, King University will host its 2015 Golf Tournament at the Country Club of Bristol, in Bristol, Tenn. The event will get underway with check in at 8 a.m. and a 9 a.m. shotgun start. An awards reception and lunch will follow the completion of the tournament at 2 p.m. Registration for the four-man select shot format is open through Monday, June 1, 2015.

“The participants in our golf tournament will have a wonderful time and proceeds from the event will student scholarships at King and the Tornado Athletic Club, so it is a win-win situation for everyone involved,” said John King, vice president for Development at King University.

The golf tournament will include several events such as a putting contest and a hole-in-one contest for a $10,000 cash prize with additional prizes for the remaining par 3 holes. Sponsorship levels for the tournament include:

  • Players Club Sponsor ($1,500+) - One team of four players and signage at the tournament
  • Amateurs Club Sponsor ($550) – Half-team of two players and signage at the tournament
  • Hole Sponsor ($200) – Signage at the tournament
  • Individual Players ($150)

All sponsorships are tax deductible minus $35 per player and $15 sign fee. Individual players may enter the tournament for a fee of $150. Red Tees and Mulligans are $10 each the day of the tournament. The fee for the putting contest is $10. Each participant will receive a “goodie” bag.
