WIVK FM 107.7 and King University to Announce Scholarship Winner during Open House Nov. 3

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 1, 2016 – Knoxville’s WIVK FM 107.7 and King University will announce the winner of the seventh annual Degree of Success Scholarship Contest promotion during an Open House event Thursday, Nov. 3 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the University’s Hardin Valley campus located at 10950 Spring Bluff Way in Knoxville. The contest was open to anyone who sought the chance to realize their dreams of obtaining an undergraduate degree at no cost through King’s Graduate, Professional, and Online Studies Programs (GPS) at Knoxville/Hardin Valley, Blount, Harriman, Morristown, Sevierville, or Strawberry Plains.

WIVK FM 107.7 listeners were invited to apply for a scholarship from Oct. 1 through Oct. 28. After the pool of applicants is narrowed to five finalists, the grand prize winner will be chosen and revealed during the Open House event on Nov. 3.

The winner will receive a full-tuition paid scholarship, including books, to one of King’s GPS degree programs including Business Administration, Communication, Criminal Justice, Elementary Education, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Psychology, or RN-BSN.

In addition to the announcement of the contest winner, this open house will provide the opportunity to meet one-on-one with faculty, financial aid counselors, enrollment counselors, career center counselors, and tour King’s Knoxville campus.
