King University Alumni Invited to Gather in Washington D.C. Sept. 25

BRISTOL, Tenn., Sept. 8, 2015 – King University alumni are invited to gather together in the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. at The Embassy Row Hotel’s Station Kitchen & Cocktail, located at 2015 Massachusetts Avenue NW, for dinner on Friday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Alumni and friends will meet for dinner and conversation at the Station Kitchen & Cocktails, a restaurant at The Embassy Row Hotel dedicated to changing the traditional approach to dining. In a food review by Peter Freeman, he commented, “Station Kitchen & Cocktails at the recently renovated Embassy Row Hotel impressed me enough to reconsider my stance on small bites with BIG flavors. Call me a new believer... assuming one’s at the right ‘Station.’”

“Washington D.C. is a special place to many King alumni due to the freshman Experience D.C. trip. For some, it was their first experience in a major metropolitan area,” says Michael Webb, director of alumni services at King. “I am excited to have alumni join together for dinner and fellowship with other alumni, faculty, and staff at the Station Kitchen & Cocktails. SK&C is a premier dining spot in the D.C. area. Thank you to Calvin McRae, 2007 alumnus and King University Alumni Advisory Council member for sponsoring this event.”

Cost for the event is only $15 per person. RSVP by Monday, Sept. 14 to Dawn McMurray via phone at 800.621.5464 or by e-mail at Contact Michael Webb for additional information at or 423.652.6399.
