Five Finalist Selected; Voting Open March 31 – April 7 for College Dream Scholarship Contest

BRISTOL, Tenn., March 31, 2017 – The five finalists in the King University/98.5 WTFM College Dream Scholarship Contest have been chosen. Voting begins at www.WTFM.com March 31 and will continue through April 7; each finalist will be interviewed on WTFM while voting continues next week. The winner will be revealed by WTFM and King University live on-air on April 10.

The five finalists are Elizabeth Baumgardner of Bristol, Va.; Tasha Cleveland of Kingsport, Tenn.; Carleigh Hewa of Bristol, Va.; Denise Morin of Bristol, Tenn.; and Lisa Ann Whisman of Keokee, Va.

The winner of the King University/98.5 WTFM College Dream promotion will receive a free scholarship to King University to complete his or her bachelor’s degree. The winner will choose his or her degree path from among seven bachelor’s degree options including Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Elementary Education, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Psychology, RN-BSN or Social Work for fall 2017 at King’s Tri-Cities locations.

In addition, the winner will also receive textbooks and a $50 gift certificate from the King University Tornado Alley Shoppe.
