Chattanooga Zoo the site of King University Alumni Gathering April 16

BRISTOL, Tenn., March 15, 2016 –King University invites alumni to gather together for an afternoon of fun at the Chattanooga Zoo on Saturday, April 16, 2016. The activities begin at 11:30 a.m. with lunch provided by Rib & Loin in the Zoo’s event tent followed by a guided tour at 1 p.m. of the exhibits.

“We are looking forward to our alumni gathering in fellowship and fun at the Chattanooga Zoo,” says Michael Webb, director of Alumni Relations at King University. “This event will be entertaining for the whole family. We will have lunch together at 11:30 a.m. at the Zoo’s event tent and have a private tour of the Zoo at 1 p.m. I hope to see many of our alumni and their families at the Zoo on April 16th!”

The Chattanooga Zoo is a fully accredited institution with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. The Zoo’s mission is to engage and inspire the community to better understand and preserve wildlife by creating meaningful connections between people and animals. Chattanooga Zoo exhibits include the Gombe Forest, Corcovado Jungle, Himalayan Passage, Walkin’ the Tracks, Warner Park Ranch, and Deserts and Forests of the World.

Cost for the zoo tour and lunch is only $10 per person with $5 entrance for children under ten. Arrival time for participating alumni and friends is between 11 and 11:30 a.m.
