King University News :: Open House to be Held Aug. 16 at King University’s Bristol Campus

BRISTOL, Tenn. Aug. 7, 2014 – King University will host an Open House on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9-11 a.m. at Nicewonder Hall located between the entrance gates on King College Road on the north side of King University’s main campus.

“Our GPS program is tailored to reduce the challenges facing the adult learner,” stated Mona Salyer, assistant vice-president for Enrollment Management Graduate Professional Studies - Tri-Cities. “Time and access are often barriers for students to finish their degrees. By offering classes in convenient locations, one night per week, the working adult may obtain their degree in as little as 16 months and open the door for professional advancement.”

This Open House will provide the opportunity to meet one-on-one with faculty, financial aid counselors, enrollment counselors, and career center counselors. 

GPS degree offerings include undergraduate degrees in Applied Science, Business Administration, Communication, Criminal Justice, English, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, History, Information Technology, Interdisciplinary Studies, Pathway, Psychology, Religious Studies, and RN-BSN. Also offered are master’s programs in Business Administration, Education, and Nursing, as well as a doctorate program in Nursing Practice.

“Whether it is a personal goal or a step toward furthering their career, King is making it easier for working adults throughout the region in their quest to obtain their degree,” said Salyer. “
