King University News :: New Students Get Early "Access" to King

Students planning to start classes at King College this fall will get an early look at campus life during Access King Weekend beginning Friday, June 18, 2010.  This will be an early registration weekend for incoming students.  The event offers students and their families the opportunity to talk with King representatives about financial aid, register for classes, check out residence life, and more.

Access King allows incoming students and their families to gain access to the King experience, our academic foundations, the personalized support they will receive from our faculty and staff, and the welcoming nature of the King community, said Greg King, director of undergraduate recruitment.

Events begin at 12 Noon on Friday and continue into the evening, leading up to Friday night's Big Event.  Activities will pick up again on Saturday, April 19, at 8:30 a.m. and will include an opportunity to register for classes, meet with an academic advisor, and a Student Activities Fair.  Students will also have the opportunity tour campus, participate in The Amazing King College Race, and parents will also receive a tour of Downtown Bristol.

Students interested in attending Access King should contact the admissions office at 800.362.0014 or register online at
