King University News :: Knoxville is Site for King University Weekend Events Aug 9 & 10

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – King University alumni are invited to a weekend of events in Knoxville, Tenn., beginning on Friday, August 9,with Tennessee Smokies baseball and will continue on Saturday, August 10, with a picnic and more family friendly activities. 

On Friday, the Tennessee Smokies will take on the Montgomery Biscuits hailing from Montgomery, Ala.  Alumni will gather at the stadium at 6 p.m. for a pre-game picnic dinner, where the kids can enjoy the Kid’s Play Zone.  The game will be at 7:15 p.m. followed by a spectacular fireworks display. The cost per person for this event is $5 with children 12 and under admitted free.

Saturday, alumni are also invited to King University’s Knoxville location at 10950 Hardin Valley Drive for a picnic and an afternoon of family fun from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Enjoy delicious food from the famous Buddy’s Bar-b-q along with a caricature artist, balloon artist, bounce house, and face painting.  There is no cost for this event.
