King University News :: King University to Host Graduate and Professional Studies Information Session at Walters State Community College March 4

BRISTOL, Tenn., February 21, 2014 – King University will host two information sessions for Graduate Professional Studies (GPS) degree options for adult learners at Walters State Community College (WSCC) on Tuesday, March 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 – 7 p.m.

King is making it easier for working adults throughout East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia in their quest to obtain a college degree.  The sessions, conducted by King University Admissions representatives, will provide information on how you can obtain your degree through King’s GPS program in as little as 16 months.

“Extending one’s education to include a bachelor’s degree provides increased career opportunities, whether a student is seeking to advance their career or they are transitioning from their current area of expertise into a new one,” said Mona Salyer, assistant vice president for Enrollment Management Graduate and Professional Studies Tri-Cities.

Those attending will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Financial Aid, Admissions, and Career Services, as well as King faculty.

The March 4 information session from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be held in the Business Technology Building room 108B. The evening session from 5 -7 p.m. will be held in room 150 of the same building. King degree options available through Walters State include Business and Nursing. Prospective students will have the opportunity to visit King Business and Nursing classes that will be in session that evening.
