BRISTOL, Tenn., February 20, 2015 – King University will host an information session
for Graduate Professional Studies (GPS) degree options for adult learners at Virginia
Highlands Community College (VHCC) on Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in
the Wolves Den located in the ICS building.
King is making it easier for working adults throughout East Tennessee and Southwest
Virginia in their quest to obtain a college degree. The sessions, conducted by King
University enrollment counselors, will provide information on how you can obtain your
degree through King’s GPS program in as little as 16 months.
“Extending one’s education to include a bachelor’s degree provides increased career
opportunities, whether a student is seeking to advance their career or they are transitioning
from their current area of expertise into a new one,” said Mona Salyer, assistant
vice president for Enrollment Management Graduate and Professional Studies Tri-Cities.
Those attending will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Financial
Aid, Admissions, and Career Services, as well as King faculty.
The Feb. 25 information session from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be held in the Wolves
Den located in the ICS building.
Contact Ashley Hartless at 423.652.4861, 800.362.0014, or firstname.lastname@example.org for additional details on the information session at Virginia Highlands Community
College. University application fees will be waived for all who attend.
