King University News :: King University Alumni to Gather in Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 21

BRISTOL, Tenn., Feb. 3, 2015 – King University alumni are invited to gather and reconnect in Charlotte, N.C., on Feb. 21 at 11:30 a.m. for great food at The Old Stone Steakhouse, followed by a trip to Belmont Abbey College to cheer on the Tornado men’s and women’s basketball teams as they take on the Crusaders.

Alumni and friends are welcomed to gather prior to the basketball game for some delicious food and an informal get-together. The Old Stone Steakhouse is located in downtown Belmont and offers the finest selection of fresh cut steaks and seafood.

“The Charlotte alumni gathering is going to be a fun and exciting event,” says Michael Webb, director of Alumni Relations. “Our alumni will have a great lunch and fellowship at Old Stone Steakhouse. Afterward, we will all cheer on King’s men’s and women’s basketball teams at Belmont-Abbey College. Both teams are having a wonderful season, and the alumni are excited to cheer them on.”

Cost for the event is only $5 per person, which includes lunch and admission to the basketball game. Children age two and under are free. The gathering will begin at 11:30 a.m. and conclude following the basketball games.

The Old Stone Steakhouse is located at 23 South Main Street, Belmont, N.C. Belmont Abbey College is located at 100 Belmont Mt Holly Rd., Belmont N.C.
