King University News :: King University Alumni Gathering Planned for Charlotte Oct. 3

King University alumni are invited to reunite and reminisce on Thursday, Oct. 3 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in Charlotte, N.C., at the Bank of America Plaza.

Alumni are invited to gather for food and fellowship in the heart of uptown Charlotte from the top floors of the Bank of America Plaza.  The amazing skyline views from the Law Office of Alston Bird will play host to the event.  This business after hours event will allow alumni to catch up with classmates and network with fellow alumni in the Charlotte area.

“We are delighted to be hosted by the firm of Alston Bird,” said Denise Asbury, director of annual giving and alumni services.  “The Bank of America Plaza, where their offices are located, is a 40-story skyscraper, the fifth largest in the city.  We appreciate their support and the opportunity to connect with alumni in this wonderful setting.”

Alumni are encouraged to bring their business cards to register for drawings.  Hors d’oeuvres will be served beginning at 6:30 p.m.; the event will conclude at 8:30 p.m.

Alston Bird is located at 101 South Tryon Street, Suite 4000, Charlotte, N.C.  Please note, a photo ID will be required to enter the building upon arrival.  RSVP by Wednesday, Sept. 25 to Patty Houston by calling 800.621.5464 or emailing pmhousto@king.edu.
