King College sophomore Jessany Bowman of Kingsport, Tenn., will showcase her photography
work during her first solo exhibition held at CityMug, located inside the CityMac
store, at 629 State Street in downtown Bristol, Va. on Friday, Dec. 7.
Bowman’s exhibition will include a group of self-portraits from her series “Here and
There.” The portraits are exploration of Bowman’s inner and outer self and her place
within the world.
The photography exhibition is being held in conjunction with Bristol's Art D'Vine
Gallery Walk event. Art D'Vine is a gallery hop and wine tasting event hosted by
eight major galleries on State Street including Kil’n Time, Benjamin Walls Gallery,
CityMug, 606 State Street Gallery, One of a Kind Gallery, blowfish emporium, One Night
Stand Gallery, and Hatching Perspective Gallery. Participants are invited to stroll
through the galleries and sample an array of wine (one at each gallery).
The public is invited to experience Bowman’s exhibition, as well as meet and greet
at the Art D’Vine event, during a reception at CityMug, 629 State Street on Dec. 7,
beginning at 6 p.m. For more information about the exhibit, contact the King College
