Students planning to start class at King College this fall will get an early look
at campus life during Access King on Saturday, April 10, 2010. This will be an early registration day for incoming students that coincides with
King's Dogwood Weekend alumni celebration. The event offers students and their families
the opportunity to talk with King representatives about financial aid, register for
classes, check out residence life, and more.
Access King allows incoming students and their families to gain 'access' to the King experience,
our academic foundations, the personalized support they will receive from our faculty
and staff, and the welcoming nature of the King community, said Greg King, director
of undergraduate recruitment.
Events begin at 8 a.m. and continue throughout the day. Participants will have the opportunity to interact
with faculty, staff, and current students. Students may also be able to connect with
King alumni on campus for Dogwood weekend.
Access King includes lunch by the lake and a tour of the King College campus. Other activities
open to students include the men's alumni soccer game at 2 p.m. and the Dogwood spring
play, Go Back for Murder at 2:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building.
Students interested in attending Access King should contact the admissions office at 800.362.0014 or register online at access.king.edu.
