King University News :: CCNE Evaluation Scheduled for King's School of Nursing

King College's School of Nursing has scheduled an on-site evaluation of both the baccalaureate and master's degree nursing programs with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) for spring 2012.

CCNE policy requires that institutions provide an opportunity for the programs identified communities of interest (e.g. students, alumni, faculty, employers, etc.) to provide written input into the deliberations of the evaluation team. Written and signed third party comments will be accepted by CCNE until February 6, 2012. All comments should be directed to:

Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
Attn: Cristina Walcott, administrative assistant
1 Dupont Circle NW, Suite 530
Washington, DC 20036

Please note that CCNE shares third-party comments only with members of the evaluation team. The evaluation team only considers third-party comments that relate to the program's compliance with the accreditation standards. Please be aware that at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program. However, all compliance concerns related to the accreditation standards will be identified in the accreditation report and the program will have an opportunity to respond to those concerns as part of its response to that report.
