BRISTOL, Tenn., August 9, 2016 – AffordableSchools.net recently released its newest college ranking list, which names King University among the “Top 20 Affordable Online Bachelor’s Degrees in Communications and Public Relations. AffordableSchools.net is a college rankings site centering on unique and affordable academic programs.

“We are pleased for King University’s Communication program to be ranked among schools such as Louisiana State University in Shreveport and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin,” says Micah Crews, associate vice president of Enrollment Management. “Our program has 100% degree completion rate. Student’s graduate as professionals who excel in writing, critical thinking, and communication skills necessary for his or her chosen career path.”

According to Managing Editor Raj Kumar Dash, “Rankings for this list were compiled with data from National Center for Education Statistics, a bureau of the Department of Education (http://nces.ed.gov/). We first queried for institutions that grant bachelor's degrees in Communications, Public Relations, or both, on a distance education basis, then applied our standard data filters, sorted by increasing average annual net price, and manually selected the 20 most affordable colleges with active online degree programs (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) in these topics.”

“King’s distance learners have the ability to study for their degree from wherever they may be,” states Crews. “King’s innovative online degree programs are designed to open the availability of an undergraduate or graduate degree to students and adult learners, thereby helping to strengthen the regional workforce, equip a new generation of education and healthcare professionals, and provide improved quality of life throughout Tennessee, Virginia, and beyond.”

King University is recognized as a “Best Regional Universities” in the South by U.S. News and World Report; this year’s ranking is King’s 26th consecutive appearance in the annual publication.
