Library & Learning Services

King College offers you a comprehensive and enhanced approach to support our campus learning environment.

Library & Learning Services consists of:

E.W. King Library

You’ll be challenged toward continued intellectual growth and spiritual formation in the library’s environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and access.

You’ll have access to a variety of information resources including books, journals, databases and online resources, compact discs, audio cassettes, videos, audio-visual equipment, and government documents.

Use your King College ID to borrow/check-out materials! And, if King College doesn’t have exactly what you’re looking for in its collections, we’ll help you get what you need through our arrangements with other libraries around the world.

The knowledgeable and helpful librarians will teach you how to use the library’s resources and help guide you in your research.

Learning Resource Center

If you find yourself having trouble in your classes, you may consider visiting the Learning Resource Center for additional help. Services offered include:

• Tutorials and tutoring
• Help with improving study and time management skills
• Assistance for students with special needs or in academic difficulty

Writing Center

The Writing Center is available to help improve your writing skills! Tutors majoring in a variety of subject areas are available to help you write everything from essays for your English courses to business reports, scientific documents or creative assignments.

Tutors do more than just check for correct comma usage; they help you through the writing process, from the beginning stages of research and idea formation to editing and proofreading.
