About the Program

students

The Dual Enrollment program provides high school students with an opportunity to take college courses before they graduate from high school. Not only do Dual Enrollment students have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school, but they have the added benefit of encountering the college environment prior to their full-time college experience.

To apply for the program, King requires the following:

  • A program application completed and signed by the student and guidance counselor or principal.
  • A minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA in high school.
  • An official high school transcript.
  • A release form allowing King to send the participant's college transcript to their high school.
  • The completion of at least two years of high school courses.
