Marilyn McEntyre is a writer and professor of medical humanities at the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program. As a noted speaker and educator, McEntyre strives to connect the Christian faith with food, healthcare and care for the earth and its creatures. She also does important work on caring for language and public discourse and finding new ways for us to live together on a planet that needs healing. She has authored 14 books, the most recent being A Faithful Farewell. Her book, What’s in a Phrase? Pausing Where Scripture Gives you Pause, received a Christianity Today 2015 book award.
