Hello, my name is Elvin Browne and I am a native of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.
As an undergraduate student I attended and played basketball at the University of
Tennessee in Knoxville before transferring to complete a Bachelor of Arts degree at
Carson-Newman College. I earned my Master of Arts degree from East Tennessee State
University while working in the admissions department. I've spent most of my career
in higher education and I enjoy the atmosphere. I'm currently working with transfer, international,
and exchange students. I love being in the King University community, and you will

Hello, my name is David Ferriss, and I am a native Nashvillian. I hold a B.S. degree in Exercise
Science from Delta State University, and a Masters in Sports Administration from
Belmont University. My background includes sales, fundraising, and community relations.
Working in education however, has been the most rewarding experience thus far. Being
based in the Nashville area, I have the unique opportunity of bringing the “King Experience”
closer to home for many of my prospective students. I am passionate about eliminating
the hurdles, concerns, and questions that arise during the college selection process.
King University is a supportive community that provides the tools, resources and foundation

Hello, my name is Logan Jennings and I am from Bristol, Tennessee. I graduated from
King College in 2013 with a degree in Business Administration. While I was a student
at King I worked on campus in the Tornado Alley Shoppe and was blessed to go on a
life changing mission trip to Brooklyn New York. King University is a remarkable place
where you will truly get a family atmosphere. As an Enrollment Counselor I currently
work with incoming traditional students and help them from day one of their journey
with college admissions. I am proud that I attended King and I’m excited to be back!

Hello! My name is Thomas VerDow. I have been working with students and their families
select their higher education path for 20 years. I truly enjoy the opportunity to
sit and talk about what you are interested in, how your life events have impacted
your choices and why you are interested in studying in a particular subject. I am
here to help you learn about King, our faculty, the campus and how far we can help
King is truly a special place. The difference at King is the depth of genuine caring
for you. That doesn’t mean you will not be held accountable, but you will find many
faculty and staff be willing to listen to you and truly help you grow academically,
socially and spiritually. We are part of an amazing community that is here for the
same reason. Our passion for you, the student, goes well beyond the classroom.

Hello, my name is Shelsi-Elizabeth Webb and I am originally from Bristol, TN. I graduated
from East Tennessee State University in the fall of 2015 with a Bachelor of Science
in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. While at ETSU; I was a member of a plethora
of clubs and very active in the Greek Community. Post-graduation, I moved back to
Bristol and became an active volunteer in the Tri-Cities as Miss Bristol VA United
States 2017, Parliamentarian of the Vance Middle School Junior Mighty Viking Booster Club and a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.
I am in love with the Bristol community and I am ecstatic to have the opportunity
to recruit students to attend such a prestigious university in my hometown. As an
Enrollment Counselor, it is my job to make sure that students know about all of the
awesome opportunities attending King can offer them. It is my role to offer guidance
during the admissions process and I look forward to helping students make these crucial
decisions as they enter the next step of life.
