VA Chapter 33 and Yellow Ribbon Programs
The Yellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program (Yellow Ribbon Program) is a provision of the Post- 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008. The Post - 9/11 GI Bill will pay up to $21,084 for the 2015-2016 academic year toward the cost of tuition and fees. Under the Yellow Ribbon agreement, the remaining amount of tuition and fees will be matched by King University and the Department of Veterans Affairs. This means 100% of your tuition and fees (tuition and fees only does not include room and board) will be paid while enrolled at King University. The Department of Veterans Affairs will also pay you a monthly housing allowance, which can be used toward a payment plan for On Campus Room and Board charges, and up to $1,000 stipend for books and supplies. Detailed information about the Yellow Ribbon Program can be found here: http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill. Since this program pays 100% of your tuition and fees, students who are awarded through this program are not eligible for any other institutional scholarships at King University. Please be advised, not all fees are covered.
Students who receive Chapter 33 benefits (less than 100%) can receive their VA Chapter 33 benefits and King University institutional aid up to the cost of tuition and fees. Please be advised, not all fees are covered.
