King and Military Veterans

Two Dudes Strutting King UniversityKing is dedicated to providing quality educational opportunities for military service members, U.S. veterans, and their families.  King welcomes the opportunity to work with you in finding the right academic and career path to help you reach your personal and professional goals.

G.I. Jobs, the premier magazine for military personnel transitioning into civilian life, has awarded King University the designation of Military Friendly School for the fourth consecutive year.  The Military Friendly Schools list honors the top 20 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America's military service members and veterans as students.

Principles of Excellence

President Obama signed Executive Order 13607: Establishing Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions Serving Service Members, Veterans, Spouses and Other Family Members on April 27, 2012. These principles were developed to strengthen oversight, enforcement, and accountability of education programs, and to ensure our service members, Veterans, and their families have the information they need to make informed decisions concerning their well-earned educational benefits.

Getting Started

A representative with King's Admissions Office is available on campus to assist and guide you through the process, helping you to maximize your military benefits and transfer credits.  King accepts qualifying credits from the military, "old" credits, as well as credits from ITT, National, and previously accredited closed colleges.
