Some Helpful Tips
We are here to help. If you have any questions or need any assistance please do not hesitate to call us at 1-800-362-0014. We will be glad to assist with your concerns.
Complete and submit all forms as listed above by the March 1 priority date if at all possible. This will give you the best possible opportunity to receive all the funds for which you are eligible. If you miss that date, it is not too late! Most programs are still available.
Complete tax returns as early as possible. Accurate, current data is essential. Keep copies of your tax returns available because we may require them.
Attend financial aid workshops and carefully read financial aid information which is available to you.
Be aware that you must reapply for aid each year you are enrolled. Your financial situation, enrollment status, and cost of attendance can vary each year, and your aid package may also change from one year to the next. Renewal of scholarships is contingent on satisfactory completion of renewal requirements as indicated for each scholarship. All students receiving financial assistance must make satisfactory academic progress each year - see catalog or request a copy of the policy.
Look for ways within your own budget to reallocate your resources for college during this time.
Changes in financial circumstance should be reported to the King College Financial Aid Office. Sometimes we are able recalculate eligibility, and additional sources of aid can be found to assist you.
Students who withdraw within a term are subject to the refund policy which is published in the catalog.
Respond promptly to all inquiries from the Financial Aid Office.
