Finance and Economics

King College’s Finance and Economics concentration is a uniquely designed program that prepares students for careers in the financial services industry. The Finance and Economics program develops the important theoretical understanding of our market economy through advanced coursework in economics. Students then complete courses in applied finance, such as investments, advanced corporate finance, and business research methods.

Many popular career opportunities exist for students with a Finance and Economics degree. The financial services industry includes commercial and savings banking, insurance, investments and brokerage, personal financial planning, and real estate. In addition, further career opportunities are increasing in international finance for those interested in the exchange rate risk that arises from conducting business in different currencies.
