Youth Ministry for the 21st Century
Effective Youth Ministry incorporates aspects of many disciplines including
Sociology, Psychology, Bible/Religion/Spiritual Development, Physiology,
Communications, Business and HR Management. King College recognizes the diverse
skills necessary to succeed in this field and has developed a major which will
thoroughly equip students for the challenges ahead.
Youth Ministry at King provides:
- Emphasis on and exposure to practical aspects of ministry
- Opportunity for international placement and short –term experiences
- Encouragement to experience youth ministry in a wide variety of settings
including schools, sports teams, churches and social agencies
- A highly experienced full-time youth ministry professor
- An Internship/Mentorship component throughout the program
- A broad program with input from experts in several disciplines
- Flexible class schedules allowing students to complete the additional
required minor with scope for a second major.
