Bio-business

The Bio-business major provides the student with an opportunity to study life sciences and business as part of a liberal arts program. This major prepares those students who seek careers in the biotechnology industry, pharmaceutical industry, public health and biomedical research. In addition, due to the interdisciplinary nature of the Bio-business major, this course of study can also prepare a student for an MBA program. Students interested in pharmacy school or graduate work in biomedical sciences will need some additional courses in the sciences.
