Visiting King College and Bristol
Though technically our address is in Tennessee, Bristol is actually located in two cities of almost equal size. The Virginia/Tennessee state line runs right through the middle of our historic downtown along State Street. Bristol, Virginia, is on the north side. Bristol, Tennessee, is on the south side. A luminous sign over State Street runs perpendicular to the division between states.
Nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, Bristol is surrounded by beauty. King’s 135-acre hilltop campus offers a quiet wooded atmosphere for studying, and yet, we’re only two miles from the excitement of downtown Bristol.
Bristol is only 20 minutes from Tri-Cities Regional Airport. King is 200 miles from Charlotte, 300 miles from Atlanta, and 350 miles from Washington, D.C.
Climate
