The Opportunities

This year’s program features intensive examinations of three facets of Appalachian life: musical tradition, literary heritage, and economic development—particularly sustainable agriculture. Members of the faculty bring extensive experience and faith commitment to these concentrations, and will provide guidance to participants as they pursue independent research, directed readings, and writing projects.
