- Q: Aside from scholarships, what other financial aid is available?
- A: You will receive a full financial aid package after you submit the FAFSA, which includes the amount of scholarship and other financial aid available to you. At this point, feel free to contact our Financial Aid office to discuss your award.

- Q: How successful are King graduates after graduation?
- A: Over the past 3 years, 85% of graduates seeking employment were employed within their major field within six months. Over 80% of students applying to graduate school were accepted into their first choice.

- Q: How do I set up a campus visit?
- A: Please call our Admissions Services Coordinator at 800-362-0014, and she will set up a visit for you. Let her know which activities you would like to take part in during the visit. They can include, but are not limited to, a campus tour, meeting with a professor, an admissions/financial aid session, attending a class, attending a chapel/convocation service, etc.

- Q: Is deposit refundable, and when is it required?
- A: May 1 is the deadline for a refund.
- Q: What activities are available in the area?
- A: Students at King enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities, such as water sports and fishing on local lakes and streams, snow skiing, and hiking on the Appalachian Trail in nearby North Carolina. Trips to local theatres, restaurants, and sporting events are popular ways to pass free time as well.
- Q: What are my dorm/residence options?
- A: We have 4 dorms (3 female and 1 male). Parks Hall, located on the oval, is an all female dorm. Mitchell Hall is located near the new Student Center Complex, and contains individual units that can be used for married student housing. It is also separated by floors and can house male students. Hyde Hall is an upper-class female suite style dorm, which houses only 33 students. Liston Hall is the only all male dorm.

- Q: What are the criteria to qualify for the TN Lottery scholarships?
- A: The academic requirements for the TN Lottery scholarship are a 3.0 final weighted GPA or a 21 ACT composite score. If you meet at least one of these criteria, then you qualify for $3,000. If you have a 3.75 and a 29 ACT composite, then you qualify for an extra $1,000 in lottery funds.

- Q: Why should I choose King over other schools?
- A: The relationships you will form here at King are why you should choose us. Personal relationships with faculty and fellow students are trademarks of a King College education. I strongly encourage you to visit campus to see this for yourself!
- Q: Can Freshmen bring cars?
- A: Yes, students are allowed to have cars on campus all four years. Students must register their vehicles in the Student Development Office and the appropriate parking permit must be displayed.
- Q: Does King College have a dress code?
- A: There is no set dress code, however students are expected to use discretion in choice of clothing. Respect for instructors’ preferences and fellow students’ is essential.
