Special Programs

American Studies Program - Students spend a semester in Washington, D.C., earning credit serving as interns and participating in a contemporary, issue-oriented seminar program. Designed for juniors and seniors with a wide range of academic majors and vocational interests.

The Middle East Studies Program - Studies in Cairo, Egypt, provide students with the opportunity to study Middle Eastern cultures, religions, and conflicts. Juniors and seniors participate in interdisciplinary seminar classes, learn Arabic, and serve as interns with organizations in Cairo.

The Russian Studies Program - The Russian Studies Program allows juniors and seniors to spend a semester living and learning in Russia. Program participants experience a variety of Russian cities, living in Moscow, Nizhni Novgorod and St. Petersburg. The semester includes a short-term opportunity to live with a Russian family.

The New Russia: A Study/Service Tour - A series of two-week intensive study tours that include 14 to 17 days of travel in Russia and another European countries. Tours include group meetings with short lectures, lectures by Russian officials, meetings with students from other countries and visits to important tourist sites like the Kremlin, and the Winter Palace.
