Bachelor of Science in Nursing

King College educates beginning and experienced students for professional nursing practice through integration of Christian faith and learning. The program focuses on the physical, spiritual, and intellectual dimensions of personhood and their influence on health. The faculty believes that nurses have a leadership responsibility to be advocates for quality of life and healthcare for individuals, families and communities, regardless of age, gender, religion, or culture. Students progressively develop these competencies through planned classroom and clinical experiences.

The King College nursing program correlates knowledge gained in the classroom with clinical experiences. Faculty and students are partners in the learning process and collaborate with qualified healthcare providers in area hospitals, nursing homes, health departments, and multiple community settings to develop current and lifelong learning habits.
