Peeke School of Christian Mission
Educating and equipping Christians in a
community of learning and discipleship to participate in God's mission of
reconciliation in Jesus Christ.

Dedicated in February 2001, the Peeke School of Christian Mission is the
culmination of decades of commitment to missions by King College and in honor of
world-changing graduate and missionary to Ecuador, M. Catherine Peeke.
Peeke courageously arrived in the jungles of Ecuador soon after the deaths of
five missionaries at the hands of tribal leaders. She spent nearly 25 years in
that village, resulting in not only the translation of the entire New Testament
into the Waorani language but also the conversion of most of the tribe to
Christianity.
To honor her devotion to "going" and "teaching," King has instituted the School
of Christian Mission.
